Royal William and Fiona?

But Not This One!
But this one.
The Royal William Victualling Yard, in Stonehouse, a suburb of Plymouth, England, was the major victualling depot of the Royal Navy and an important adjunct of Devonport Dockyard. It was designed by the architect Sir John Rennie and was named after King William IV. It was built between 1826 and 1835, and occupies a site of approximately 16 acres.
Finely-engineered stonework is seen throughout the Yard.
The Yard was closed in 1992 and subsequently passed into private hands. Grade I listed, it was converted to an up-market mixed use development by Urban Splash. Described as the grandest of the royal victualling yards, "in its externally largely unaltered state it remains today one of the most magnificent industrial monuments in the country".
Urban Splash specialises in taking run down urban structures and turning them into modern up-market apartments. Particularly celebrated is their conversion of the oft-reviled Park Hill flats in Sheffield. (Spot the old bus at the start of their promo video!)
Thus there is plenty of up-market housing in "The Yard" and up-market retailing, no doubt at up-market prices!
fbb must remember to call in at Wagamama and Mutant Labs next time he is in Plymouth!

But today Royal William is Host to Fiona Bruce and gang.
BBC's ever popular Sunday evening programme Antiques Roadshow ...
... will be filming for its 38th series at The Royal William Yard, Plymouth, on Thursday 11th, June, 2015. The doors open at 9.30 am and close at 4.30pm. Entry to the show is free.

If you want to pop in, clutching your pride-and-joy antiquities, you could catch Plymouth Citybus 34/34A from Royal Parade, the city centre stops.
You might also like to try the ferry ...
... from The Barbican at the other end of Plymouth's waterfront. The timetable is presented in a helpful way with hourly departures for each day in turn ...
... so weekend schedule differences are obvious! (?)
the asterisks refer to additional summer and school holiday sailings.

Parking near The Royal William may not be easy, so First Bus are running a special service.
